Local School Council
What is The Local School Council?
The School Council was established to foster the moral and educational development of our children within the framework of a Catholic environment and philosophy.
Council furthers the knowledge and appreciation within the local community of the goals established by the Board of Directors. Council’s mandate is to foster effective relationships between all members of the school staff, families of the school community, parish, and the Catholic Independent Schools of the Diocese of Victoria. Council reflects the unique character of St. Patrick’s School community and advises the Board of local issues and concerns. Members of the school council are elected to participate in decision-making for a three year term.
